HPI's Thunder 'Yote

This was designed and built by Hodaka Dave last Fall for the ISDT reunion ride. Dave is a real craftsman when it comes to bikes like Matilda or the Thunder 'yote! Greg and Diane Watkins hand crafted the tank and it came out incredible. Rich Gagnon ported the 03 cylinder and the 03 engine case assembly. I'll add some more detail as time goes on and you will see it this year at the qualifier in AK in April and at Hodaka Days. Probably at Mid Ohio as well.

I only wish I had the capability to post dozens of pictures. Thanks to Greg, Jay, Dave and Rich for all the effort that went into this. This bike has a stock Model 03 reeds assemlby with a fiber carbon single pedal reeds feeding an 03 cylinder. Carburation is feed with a stock Model 03 26mm carb with split vanes both inside and out.

Ed's Restored Ace 100

The Ace 100 with its rubber gators on the front forks brings back memories of the 60's. This bike was found on everything from the steet to the desert and shorttrack. Here is an Ace 100 that was restored by ED and he did a great job of it. We both shared a lot of excitement when he returned from the Motor Vehicle division with his title. Great job Ed!

As an introduction to Ian's RCW I would like to express by appreciation of a terrific execution of custom design bike. This bike has the heart of a pure racer and just enough dressing to be legal. And I am head over heels with the black green color scheme. It stands as distincitive as the blue orange scheme on the late 98 and 97 racers. If it isn't chrome and red I would opt for this color design. Great job Ian!
